| We have been married 28 years and decided to vacation, without the kids this time. Like a second honeymoon. We heard about the Puerta Plata in the Dominican Republic, Lifestyles and Holiday Resorts from a friend. So we decided to try it.It was absolutely beautiful! The helicopter ride from the airport, the beautifully decorated Villa with a pool 10 feet from our room, breakfast prepared for us every morning whenever we wanted, beautiful beaches and pools with beds on the beach to relax, read or just bask in the sun. Everything is at your finger tips to do, snorkeling, tours, kayaking, horseback riding on the beach, golf, ect.
Many up-scale restaurants to enjoy. My favorite time was the welcome party, I haven’t danced like that in years. Food and drinks were unlimited and the service was phenomenal, we were treated like royalty, we felt like we the rich and famous. Needless to say we are going back next year and after showing our friends all the pictures we took, they want to come with us. The staff was outstanding, our own chef every morning for breakfast was fun, his cooking was delicious and very special. The staff at the beaches and restaurants could not do enough for you. The resort and my Villa was clean and safe, and always beautiful. Traveling with 5 people can be a challenge at times, but the staff and the resort made every minute a pleasure. We all had privacy and still enjoyed the company every minute. This vacation was truly paradise! We enjoyed having breakfast cooked by our very own chef every morning. The meals at the restaurants at the resort were so delicious, the ambiance of each restaurant so different and so elegant. Our villa was clean and spacious with the couples in our group each having their own bedroom and bathroom. Our villa even had its own swimming pool! Transportation was never an issue to the resort and around the property. We traveled by helicopter to the resort from the airport and on our way back to the airport, we were driven in style by stretch limousine with all the amenities you could imagine in our limo! I can’t say enough about the service at Lifestyles. You don’t want for anything. While you’re at your villa or on one of the beautiful beaches or at a restaurant or simply taking a walk, the team at Lifestyles is at your service 24 hours a day. When they say all-inclusive, Lifestyles means it! A saying we got used to hearing from the staff at Lifestyles was, “The word No is not in my vocabulary”. I can’t wait to go back again! Karen – New York ____________________________________________________________________________________ I visited the Lifestyles Resort in the Dominican in November for a ten day stay. All the expectations I had were not nearly high enough for what was in store! I have never been on a vacation where you truly can’t think of one thing you wished was better. From the villa we stayed in to the beautiful beaches. Our villa had the privacy and relaxing environment you can only hope for on vacation. The VIP beaches were small and quaint, making for a very personal visit. The servers on the beach honestly want to get to know you. Half way through our trip we had our favorite server who knew all of our names and the drinks that each of us enjoyed. You don’t even have to interrupt your tan to get a drink; they bring it right to you! From the beautiful beaches in the morning to a fun-filled night-life, it was more than you could ask for! The bartenders always had a smile on their faces along with the desire to keep your drinks filled to the brim! I believe it’s true that smiles are contagious because I never saw a staff member without a smile on their face which in turn kept me smiling for the full ten days. Being around such a wonderful staff is what makes that vacation go from a ten to a fifteen! We truly could not have asked for a better vacation. Lisa K. NY ____________________________________________________________________________________ I visited the VIP Villa in the Dominican Republic for the first time on my 75th birthday. I can honestly say that it has taken me 75 years to be treated like this! I have never had this level of service in my 75 years of travel. Every morning at our Villa we had our personal Chef cook us a delicious special breakfast There are several beaches at the resort and they are all beautiful with Mahogany beds right on the beach. The beds have a Mattress as comfortable as my own bed at home. There are white cloth canopies draped over the beds in case you don’t want full sun all day. There is a bar at each beach where you can hang out or if you are feeling too comfortable the staff will bring you food and your choice or drink right to your beach bed, lounge chair or even poolside. The bathrooms on the beach are incredible with Mahogany wood, granite and tile, Wow! Your only chore for the vacation is to shower, dress and decide which beach, or pool to go to I went to Ocean World and swam with dolphins; they went a little too fast for me but I was able to change to just being in the water to pet and play with them which was much more my speed. The staff is outsatnding as they are so happy to serve you that they actually get disappointed if you do not want anything. I can promise you that you will not be dissappointed! Angie B., New Jersey _________________________________________________________________ A friend suggested that we check out My VIP Villa when my wife and I were looking to book a trip for our honeymoon, and we’re glad that he did. The trip was booked without any issues with frequent updates during the process, and Louis personally called me to share his experiences there and what to expect once we’ve arrived. We were even picked up by a helicopter from the airport! The presidential suite was as beautiful as shown in the pictures, and the service was impeccable. We were given VIP access to picture perfect beaches and pools. Each of these beaches and pools had easily accessible bars for snack and drinks or if you choose to, you can just order it through your friendly server, as part of the all-inclusive. I had a server (Annabel!) who knew my drinks so I didn’t even have to order mine- he just brought it to me as soon as he saw me. We also scheduled a couple of excursions to Ocean World nearby and a snorkeling experience at Paradise Island, which takes you about 2 hours by bus. We actually missed the bus to Paradise Island (they left pretty early in the morning at 7:40 AM), but the VIP concierge helped us reschedule our excursion to 2 days later, which was awesome. Not only were the accommodations perfect, the food and staff were equally outstanding. We stayed at a villa and although our party was quite large, it never felt like we were on top of each other. We all had our own room and bathroom which was a great feature. |
